Artisans carve wooden blocks to dip in dye and create beautiful and unique block printed patterns. We asked them to carve some specially for us and add a gold eyelet and earth toned ribbon, creating a unique, beautiful ornament!
These ornaments were hand carved from Tecomella Wood, which is a tree species known locally in Jaipur as known as Rohida. It's typically found in the desert regions of India & Pakistan.
