Share
Introduction
This gourmet dish features pan-seared scallops served with a rich and flavorful pesto cream sauce. It's a perfect recipe to showcase your cooking skills and impress your guests. We'll be using Kitchen + Metal cookware to prepare this dish.
Ingredients:
- 12 large scallops
- 1/4 cup pesto
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a Kitchen + Metal skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they're cooked through. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set them aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the pesto to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until it thickens slightly.
- Return the scallops to the skillet and coat them with the pesto cream sauce.
- Serve the scallops hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Cooking Tips:
Make sure to not overcrowd the skillet when searing the scallops. Cook them in batches if necessary. Also, don't overcook the scallops; they should be opaque and firm to the touch.
