Introduction

Ingredients:

  • 12 large scallops
  • 1/4 cup pesto
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a Kitchen + Metal skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they're cooked through. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set them aside.

Cooking Tips:

Make sure to not overcrowd the skillet when searing the scallops. Cook them in batches if necessary. Also, don't overcook the scallops; they should be opaque and firm to the touch.
